There is so much to write about. Where do I start from?
"When the going gets tough, the tough get going"
The newspaper read 'IBM techie ends life'. It was unusually gloomy atmosphere at our cafeteria. 'Its better to die once and for all than to die everyday', the suicide note said. We could relate it to our lives.
Tough times are a part of life. There are so many approaches to deal with it. But its always easier said than done. I'm sharing my thoughts here.
Just give up. When you don't know what to do, don't do anything. Just watch things happen. It means that you should do the best you can and don't think about it. We are here on a temporary basis. Did you ever think about it? We live life as though we are permanent.
So what difference does it make if you lose your job, your money, your valueable belongings, and whatever is dear to you? So far, I've lost so many things. Yet, there are so many things to lose. At times we cry, feel sad, depressed, left alone and hopeless. We should experience, learn and move on. Just add value to your life.
Remember that giving up things beyond your control doesn't indicate your weakness; it indicates your strength.
Somethings mentioned may sound contradictory or we may not agree to it. We can discuss them. Please let me know. There is much more to this.
Life is so beautiful!

The cafeteria is usually a lively place where we do so many things over a cup of tea: simple tea/masala tea/lemon tea, coffee: cappuccino/expresson/latte. These things include jokes, singing, reading newspaper and commenting on it, property rates, stock market analysis, commenting on managers, weekend outings, recipe etc. We have almost tasted every dish theoretically, when I say recipe; everyone was slurped over the mouth watering dry fish I recently prepared with coconut oil. :-p

Excerpt from the Speech given by Chetan Bhagat at Symbiosis.
Life is one of those races in nursery school where you have to run
with a marble in a spoon kept in your mouth. If the marble falls,
there is no point coming first. Same with life, where health and
relationships are the marble. Your striving is only worth it if there
is harmony in your life. Else, you may achieve the success, but this
spark, this feeling of being excited and alive, will start to die.
One thing about nurturing the spark - don't take life seriously. Life
is not to be taken seriously, as we are really temporary here. We are
like a pre-paid card with limited validity. If we are lucky, we may
last another 50 years. And 50 years is just 2,500 weekends. Do we
really need to get so worked up? It's ok, bunk a few classes, goof up
a few interviews, fall in love. We are people, not programmed devices.
"Don't be serious, be sincere." !
